Akane Jail Planning and Sign ups (OPEN)
"I failed you once already," is all he manages to croak.
"Then..." she starts as her voice drops. "...maybe you should be the one to stay instead."
He stiffened.
"How can I trust you not to obey them again?" she continued. "When that's all you've ever done. When I was under Kirijo's control, you were so honest. You hated it when I called you Dad."

"But now?" Her eyes burned. "You don't have to worry anymore. I have EMMA."
His vision swam.
A flash of memory surfaced.

Kyoto 2038 Jail Plot
WHAT'S UP?
SOOO we are finally here. After an year and a half of slow burning my way through this, I am very excited to announce that we will have the Kyoto Jail arc from 16th January. Canonically, this arc stretches to at best 10 days but RP-wise this is a story-packed month long story campaign. I have been pretty loud about this in discord but I think its important to make an official post like this here.
Some things summarized below:

This is also not only a resolving arc for Akane but also for Zenkichi BUT please make full use of the jail and its theme to elevate your characters or make them do things! That's essentially the point of this post.

I will be maintaining a google doc which lists every aspect of the jail in the 'Akane' section and the actual key plot points which serve as motivation for Akane's distortion in the 'Zenkichi' section: please feel free to refer to it when you get the time. This will be constantly getting updated.

If this confuses you PLEASE refer to the google doc. The main course of action is that the first day (no Zenkichi) when team will infiltrate, Akane will trap some of them and some will escape. Some will then become her henchmen and then new people will join second infiltration (including Zenkichi) and save imprisoned teammates then proceed to change Akane's heart and her henchmen.

DEADLINES
In order to avoid player burn out as well as make sure the plot doesn't drag on for months, deadlines will be allotted. Like previous plots if something isn't covered in time a summary of the whole plot will be made after 6 days. Note you can still continue with your ongoing rp if you are interested in the themes but I WILL move on to the next piece ASAP.

I am pretty sure Akane gave Kaitou the letter right? She does only start to get worse from mid january but she had promised older Kaitou she will give it to younger Kaitou when the event is over.
Unless you are sayinggg you wanna publicize the contents of the letter to push Kaitou?

Well that's up to you. Whenever Akane or EMMA does so if you go that route. Kaitou would not be happy either way.

aaaaokay we are upto speed. I think I know a way to use the letter knowledge because as much as Akane is a jail monarch, she isn't like blatantly evil with info she's trusted with (which would extend to EMMA if Akane manages to steal his desire) but
- before the brainwashing, in the first infiltration just to push the rage ailment on Kaitou and make him lose his guard, Akane might threaten to reveal the contents. Just to like, tease it to other party members about the potential future arc.

Hmmm, that could potential work as Kaitou hasn't talked with anyone about the letter (since he spent January alone and grumpy). He would uneasy at the idea of others looking at something that personal, and he doesn't have his future self's memories so he would be shocked that she has a copy.

Oh and I just remembered that Kaitou is a Wild Card, so for the sake of balance, maybe it might be best that he only has access to Satanael while under EMMA's control. Satanael is already OP as it is. Or if it's not an issue, I can try my best to make things fair.

I trust your writing 👍 Paired with that tbh even this Zenkichi is kind of wildcard esque or a bit like Goro Akechi since he will be having access to Valjean and a SECRET SECOND THING ehe. most of the players are op or overleveled so we would need a levelled field one way or another

You can totally have Kaitou go berserk and Akane catches him off guard and steals his desires yep yep- I can even see Akane exploiting that weakness of blood to his advantage. This will also mean Kaitou can be in the real world and the jail world depending on what suits him to spread Akane’s agenda :3
I am also going to discuss with other peeps regarding the status of personas for team 1c. As in do they retain their personas but they are also brainwashed or do they have their shadow selves fight others. Uhhh I am not sure but you would prefer too so you can lemme know 👁👁

Hmm... that is a good question. I could see Satanael resisting, at least a little. Given that he is Kaitou's ultimate persona and the one that Kaitou used to kill Yaldabaoth. But maybe not enough to snap Kaitou out of it due to the lack of desire.

i will be doing other sections under Akane’s in the google doc this week to kind of explain each role and its attributes and leave room for what you wanna do but some of the stuff i am saying here is by default.
